The Bananas are the fourth item in the Link's Awakening trading sequence.
Link's Awakening
The Bananas are acquired from Sale in Sale's House o' Bananas. Sale loves canned foods, so he gives Link the Bananas in exchange for the Dog Food.[1][2] Link must then give the Bananas to Kiki in order to get into Kanalet Castle.[3] This allows him to obtain the fifth item in the Sequence: the Stick.[4]
