The Bago-Bago are enemies from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link that can be found in watery and lava filled regions of Hyrule.

Appearances

Bago-Bagos are animated skeletal fish that resurrected by unholy magic. This enemies steal 10 experience points from you if they come in contact with you, so avoid touching them at all costs. There are two variations of Bago-Bago in this game.

Red Bago-Bago

Red Bago-Bago can be found in the western Hyrulean. This undead fish always appear in areas with bridges. They leap out of the water in attempt to bite any living creatures that crosses their path. They also sometimes shoot rocks from their mouths. Link gains 2 experience points for defeating the Red Bago-Bago.

White Bago-Bago

The White Bago-Bagos that found in Great Palace are slightly stronger than their west Hyrulean counterparts. They appear in lava filled areas and will spits fireballs from its mouth instead of rocks. Link gains 5 experience points for defeating the White Bago-Bago.
