Astrid is a fortune teller who can be found on the Isle of Ember. She is upset about the recent death of her good friend, Kayo. After Link rescues Astrid from being trapped in her own basement, she provides him with some goodies and useful hints throughout the game. Following the traditional fortune-telling in The Legend of Zelda series, Astrid tells Link what his next destination will/should be. She later reveals herself as a member of the Cobble race,[1] who lived on the Isle of Ruins before it was flooded.
