Astral Observatory

The Astral Observatory is a location in Majora's Mask. It is important to getting out of the Deku form after Link is transformed into one by Skull Kid. Professor Shikashi maintains the building. In order to reach the observatory, Link must learn the code from The Bombers and pass through their hideout. It contains a giant telescope, and if Link looks at Skull Kid on top of the Clock Tower on his first three-day cycle in Termina, the Moon's Tear will fall from the Moon, which can help Link return to Hylian form by giving it to the Business Scrub in Clock Town. In addition, the building has a door that will lead into a gated area of Termina Field. The Scarecrow also lives in the observatory, and he will let Link play the Scarecrow's Song. Within the gated area, Link can find a Gossip Stone and Soft Soil. Outside the gate is a Deku Flower, which Link can use to simply fly to the Astral Observatory. There is also a glitch called the 4th-Day Glitch where, if the player looks through the telescope just before the moon falls on the Final Night, there will be a 4th day to take care of things.
