Aruroda, also known as an Aru Lowder or Skettlar, is an enemy that appears in The Adventure of Link. Aruroda is a tough foe resembling a one-eyed scorpion. These creatures live inside the caves in the southern deserts of Eastern Hyrule. They are extremely powerful and attack by firing a ball of flame from their tail at Link, which like an Acheman's fireball, cannot be blocked with his Shield unless Reflect has been cast. They have a very thick hide, and can only be damaged when the eye is open.
