Applean Forest is an area in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Breath of the Wild

The Applean Forest is located right alongside the Hylia River at the northeast portion of Hyrule Field, just southeast of Hyrule Castle. The forest is densely populated with tall grass and plenty of Apple trees. At the south-central part of the forest, there are three apple trees all lined up in a row. If Link picks the apples off the one tree so that all three of them match, he will collected a Korok Seed.

At the northeast part of the forest, a Blue Hinox can be found sleeping in the area. The Blue Hinox carries a Royal Broadsword and Royal Bow around its neck.

At the southeast end of the forest, right alongside the Hylia River, near the Rebonae Bridge, Link will find a small enemy camp. Here there are some Red Bokoblin and Blue Bokoblin, surrounding a small campfire. There are some Palm Fruit on the ground, as well as some crates that have Apples and Arrows. Link can use the Cooking Pot here to create meals. Buried in the ground at the center of the camp is a treasure chest with a Purple Rupee. There is also a Raft nearby that Link can use to travel along the Hylia River.

Pick apples on the third tree to make it match the other two.

There are three apple trees in a row. Two have one apple each, but the third tree has many apples. Pick the apples until the third tree only has one apple, matching the apples on the other two trees.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Applean Forest is found well east of the Lookout Landing, along the Hylia River. As its name suggests, the forest is loaded with Apples as well as a few more rare Golden Apples.

Just to the southwest of the forest, on the other side of the marked pathway, there is an enemy camp with some Soldier Construct Is, Bokoblins, and an Aerocuda. Where the constructs are, Link can use Ascend to reach the top of the pillar where he'll find a treasure chest that contains three Time Bombs.

At the northeast of the forest, near the beach, Addison can be found holding a Hudson Sign. Link can use the nearby Hyrule Restoration Materials to hold up the sign. As a thanks, Addison will reward Link with a Red Rupee, some Veggie Rice Balls, and a Bomb Flower.
