Ankle is a recurring character in the Legend of Zelda series. Ankle is the brother of Tingle and Knuckle. He wears a pink suit identical to Tingle's except for the color. Ankle and his siblings can ordinarily be found around Tingle. Ankle is more of a neutral character, contrasting him from his other relatives.

Ankle and David Jr. constantly work hard to perpetuate the spinning of Tingle Tower, Tingle's lookout tower on Tingle Island. His favorite proverb is "One may as well hang for a stolen sheep as for a stolen lamb."

Ankle can be found sitting on a stump in the Lon Lon Ranch area. Like his brothers and David Jr., he can fuse Kinstones with Link to open a doorway in one of the trees in North Hyrule Field.
