The Ancient Ones, or the Ancient Tribe, are an ancient civilization that the Happy Mask Salesman speaks about in Majora's Mask.
The Ancients used Majora's Mask during their hexing rituals.[1] The Ancient Ones knew of the troubles that the mask caused, and knowing its potential power, the grouped sealed away the mask, preventing it from being misused in the future.[2] However, during the time that the game Majora's Mask takes place, the Ancient Tribe has vanished, so there is nobody that truly knows the nature of the mask's power.[3]
