The Ancient Helm is a helm found in Breath of the Wild. It has a base defense of 4 and decreases damage taken from Guardian laser attacks. This headgear can be obtained by visiting the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab and speaking to Cherry, and exchanging 20 Ancient Gears, 5 Ancient Shafts, 3 Ancient Cores, as well as 2000 Rupees for it. This trade can only be completed after the Ancient Furnace outside of the lab has been lit.
Armor Set
The Ancient Set (also including Ancient Cuirass and Ancient Greaves) increases damage done to Guardians, when all equipped pieces have been enhanced at least twice.
Enhance Path
Enhancing Armor requires that Link has unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountains as the desired star-level.
