The Ancient Cuirass is a chest armor found in Breath of the Wild. It has a base defense of 4 and decreases damage taken from Guardian laser attacks. This chest-piece can be obtained by visiting the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab and speaking to Cherry, and exchanging 20 Ancient Gears, 5 Ancient Screws, 3 Ancient Cores, and 2000 Rupees for it. This trade can only be completed after the Ancient Furnace outside of the lab has been lit.

Armor Set

The Ancient Set (also including Ancient Helm and Ancient Greaves) increases damage done with Ancient weapons, when all equipped pieces have been enhanced at least twice.

Enhance Path

Enhancing Armor requires that you have unlocked as many Great Fairy Fountain as the desired star-level.
