Walkthrough
You can set this quest as the objective marker to find Guy again for the turn-in.
Guy will give you a purple rupee for a Chilly Elixir. You can make one by cooking a Winterwing Butterfly or a Cold Darner with a monster part. The stable also has a pot for you to cook at.
Cold Darners are the easiest to use for this quest as they can be found flying throughout the Gerudo Canyon and are sold by Maypin, who wanders the path outside the Gerudo Canyon Stable. Butterflies and darners require great stealth to sneak up on and catch. Winterwing Butterflies and Cold Darners are most commonly found in the Tabantha Frontier or Hyrule Ridge.
Tip: If you have done the Slated for Upgrades Side Quest and have Sensor+, take a picture of a Wintering Butterfly or Cold Darner before you try to catch it. You can then set it as your Sensor+ target for help in finding another if the first one gets away.
Bonus Tip: Taking a picture of a butterfly or a darner can be a pain and almost more annoying than just finding one in the first place. If you have done the Sunshroom Sensing Side Quest as well, you can talk to Symin at the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab and purchase creatures pictures for your compendium (at 100 rupees each, getting a random picture each time, can buy in bulk if desired) until you have a picture of a Wintering Butterfly or a Cold Darner. You can then set one as your Sensor+ target for help in finding one.
