The Altar of Lord Jabu-Jabu is a location in Ocarina of Time. It is located within Zora's Fountain and it is where the Zora come to worship Lord Jabu-Jabu.

Story

"Of course, you'll go find Ruto. You can pass through here to the altar of Lord Jabu-Jabu.[1]"

Princess Ruto is in charge of feeding Lord Jabu-Jabu.[2] When Link arrives at Zora's Domain, he soon finds out that Ruto has gone missing. After acquiring Ruto's Letter in Lake Hylia, Link will find out that she has been swallowed by Lord Jabu-Jabu. After showing the letter to King Zora, he will allow Link to pass into Zora's Fountain.

After Link catches a Fish in a Bottle, he can take it to the Altar of Lord Jabu-Jabu. After releasing it on the altar, Link will be swallowed up by Lord Jabu-Jabu himself, where Link will find himself within the third dungeon of the game, Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly.

But since that stranger, Ganondorf, came here, Lord Jabu-Jabu has been a little green around the gills... The evidence seems clear. Of course, you'll go find Ruto. You can pass through here to the altar of Lord Jabu-Jabu. I'll keep this letter. You keep the bottle it was in. Take it respectfully!" — King Zora, Ocarina of Time.
