The Aeralfos is an enemy that appears exclusively in Twilight Princess, first as the Mini-Boss of the City in the Sky, and later as a regular enemy in the Cave of Ordeals and Hyrule Castle.

Strategy

Aeralfos can will always fight in the air to begin a battle. However, they can be bought down using Link's Clawshot on its Shield, which conveniently doubles as a Clawshot target. Once it has been pulled down, Link can slash away at it with his Master Sword. It will fight back, so Link can use some of the Hidden Skills taught to him by the Hero's Shade to defeat it. Defeating this first Aeralfos allows Link to obtain a second addition to his original Clawshot; making them the Double Clawshots.
