A Royal Recipe is a side quest in Breath of the Wild. The quest giver is Gotter from Riverside Stable.
Requirements
Walkthrough
Talk to Gotter to get this quest. He wants to eat a recipe once eaten by the royal family.
To complete this quest head to the Library in Hyrule Castle. There are two recipe books here: one on the upper level for Monster Cake, and one on the lower level for Fruitcake.
Alternatively, you can make the recipes without going to the castle at all. The recipes are as follows:
- Fruitcake: At least two different types of fruit (Apples and Wildberries are named in the recipe), Tabantha Wheat, and Cane Sugar
- Monster Cake: Monster Extract, Tabantha Wheat, Goat Butter, and Cane Sugar
Make either for Gotter and he will reward you with a silver rupee. Make the other one for him as well for an extra silver rupee.
