2020 saw the release or occurrence of the following Legend of Zelda games, notable items, or events.

20th: A Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase was broadcast, announcing a "Season Pass" of three DLC packs for Cadence of Hyrule, and a physical release to follow.
- The first of the packs, a Character Pack including Impa, "Shadow Link" and "Shadow Zelda" as playable characters, was released the same day.

27th: The second Cadence of Hyrule DLC pack, a Melody Pack with 39 new music remixes, was released.

8th: Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity was announced for the Nintendo Switch.
23rd: The third Cadence of Hyrule DLC pack, the Symphony of the Mask story expansion with Skull Kid as a playable character, was released.

23rd: Cadence of Hyrule was released on physical cart for Nintendo Switch, including all DLC.
