Magic Armor first appeared in The Wind Waker. But, unlike in Twilight Princess, it is more of a spell than actual "armor". Link can acquire it by completing the entirety of the trading sequence with the Goron merchants. It uses the magic in the magic meter to work, and when Link runs out of magic, it does not make him invincible anymore.

Twilight Princess
The Magic Armor is a optional item found in Twilight Princess that is obtained in a side quest, in which Link must provide the Malo Mart with 1000 Rupees to repair the West Gate that leads into Hyrule Castle Town and then 2000 rupees to create a Malo Mart chain in Castle Town. Once he has completed both groups of donations, Link will be able to buy the Magic Armor for 598 rupees. This armor makes Link invincible, however, for every second used with the Magic Armor equipped, he loses 1 rupee. When out of rupees, the Magic Armor turns blue and no longer causes invincibility. Also, while walking around, it will be exactly like wearing the Iron Boots, but without the magnetic effects. If Link wears this in water, he will sink and have a limited time under water. Link loses additional rupees for getting hit by enemies.
A Guay is a small bird that appears in multiple of the Zelda games. They usually come in flocks, and dive at Link's head to attack.

Ocarina of Time
Navi

In Ocarina of Time, Guays only appear at the Desert Colossus, Lake Hylia, and Lon Lon Ranch during the nighttime. They infinitely respawn, but after a while a Big Guay will appear. It is just as easy to defeat as the other Guays, but it drops more Rupees when defeated.

Majora's Mask
Tatl
Majora's Masks Guays are similar in look to the ones in Ocarina of Time: purplish bodies and orange beaks. They mostly appear in trees; however, there is a single Guay that circles Clock Town in Termina Field, but it does not attack. If Link plays a certain song with a certain mask on, it will drop Rupees for him Guays can also be found near the pond in Snowhead region during spring, and also in Ikana Canyon.

Twilight Princess
Guays took on a different appearance in Twilight Princess, looking more like an actual bird and more of a twisted enemy design. They resemble a vulture and have bright blue eyes. They usually attack in flocks, but also can be seen by themselves. If Link defeats an entire flock of Guays, they will drop a sum of Rupees.

Skyward Sword
Fi
These small bird-like enemies will dive-bomb Link if they spot him. They also have a secondary ability to drop feces upon Link's head. This creates a noxious yellow cloud that will drain hearts until he shakes it off.
Misery Mire, sometimes called "Misery Maze," is a dungeon in the Dark World of A Link to the Past that can be found in the same location as the Light World's Desert of Mystery. To enter the dungeon, you will need the Ether Medallion.

Lore
"The labyrinth under Misery Mire was sealed by the same magic that created the wind and the rain in the swamp. The first hero ever to explore this maze is said to be the legendary Link. While standing on the lightning bolt symbol near the cave entrance, Link called upon the magic of the Ether Medallion, causing the clouds to vanish and the dungeon entrance to rise from the swamp."

"A Change in the Weather

It was the magic of the Ether Medallion that caused the clouds to disappear and the Misery Maze entrance to rise from the swamp. Link and other adventurers to follow were then able to explore the passages of the maze."

"As long as rain clouds hovered over Misery Mire, the entrance to Misery Maze would be sealed."

"Inside Misery Maze, Link received a clue about the connection between several torches in the maze and a door that would not open."

"The tile near the dungeon's entrance bore the same symbol as the Ether Medallion. When the magic Ether was used there, the results were astounding."

"By lighting all of tha lamps in two connecting rooms, Link was able to open the door to the room holding the maze's big key."
Yeto will take the pumpkin from you and add it to his soup. It will now refill four hearts. Next, speak to Yeta. She will open another door for you so head through it. Avoid the Freezard and climb through the eastern window. Kill all the Mini-Freezards and pick up the cannon ball. Bring it to the north end of the room and place it in the cannon. Kill the Wolves and dig at the northern end of the courtyard to find a Small Key. Enter the western door and kill the Mini-Freezards. Go through the locked door and kill the Mini-Freezards to unlock the door. Go through the northwest one. Kill the Chilfos and open the chest to get the Ordon Pumpkin. Return to the room with Yeto.

Compass
Yeto will take the pumpkin from you and add it to his soup. It will now refill four hearts. Next, speak to Yeta. She will open another door for you so head through it. Avoid the Freezard and climb through the eastern window. Kill all the Mini-Freezards and pick up the cannon ball. Bring it to the north end of the room and place it in the cannon. Point the cannon south and insert a Bomb. Enter the room that is now accessible. Make your way to the southwest corner and collect the Compass. Return to the courtyard.

Ball and Chain
Here, dig up the chest to the north to find a Small Key. Use it on the door on the east side. In this room, use the lever on the wall to transport a cannon ball to the courtyard. Put it in the cannon and point it at the Freezard. Shoot it and enter the door it was guarding.

Darkhammer
To defeat Darkhammer, you must first Clawshot to the ceiling above and behind him. Next attack his exposed tail. Once he is defeated, he will leave behind his Ball and Chain. pick it up and enter the north door. Break the ice with your newly found item and open the chest to find Ordon Goat Cheese. Go back to the room with Yeto.

Collection
With the Goat Cheese, Yeto will make a soup that can refill eight hearts. Go back to the room with Yeta and she will open the third door. First, return to the entrance and break the suit of armor to find the second Imp Poe in the dungeon. Return to the last room and enter the now open door. Head north and
The Lakebed Temple is located at the bottom of Lake Hylia, and is the third Dungeon of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It is a water-themed dungeon, much like that of the Water Temple from Ocarina of Time. In order to gain access to the Lakebed Temple, Link will need Water Bombs, Iron Boots, and Zora Armor.

The temple used to be a place of worship for the Zora. However, in some point in time, it was infested with monsters. The Zora were forced to flee the temple and block it off, but with water bombs. Link can gain entrance and defeat Morpheel, who is carrying the last Fused Shadow.
Octoroks are a recurring enemy in the Zelda series, being in every game except Twilight Princess. They highly resemble octopi from the real world (hence the name Octorok, meaning 8). They generally spit rocks, and have been found as both land and water dwelling enemies.

Appearances
The Legend of Zelda
In The Legend of Zelda, Octoroks were enemies near the starting screen that shoot rocks at Link, dealing half a heart of damage. Also, upon contact they deal half a heart of damage. They come in two colors, red and blue. The blue Octoroks take two hits to kill with the Wooden Sword, as opposed to the red variety, which will be defeated with only one swipe of the Wooden Sword.

The Adventure of Link
In The Adventure of Link, Octoroks once again come in two varieties. The red Octoroks stay in the same place while jumping and spitting rocks. The blue versions are slightly more difficult, as they move toward Link. Defeating a red or blue Octorok rewards the player with 10 and 20 experience points, respectively.

A Link to the Past
Octoroks in A Link to the Past are located in eastern Hyrule, near the Eastern Palace. There are two types of Octoroks in A Link to the Past, the first type is just a normal Octorok which walks around in a random direction and stops if it sees Link and shoots a projectile out. The second type walks in a random direction and if it spots Link, will shoot multiple projectiles out in a circular fashion.

Link's Awakening
Octoroks in Link's Awakening appear all over Koholint Island and are some of the most common enemies in the game. If they spot Link they will shoot a rock in his general direction. They also appear in another form where they have wings, called the Winged Octorok. Winged Octoroks are less common than the common Octorok and even though they have wings, they can't fly especially well. If Link tries to charge at them and attack, they jump and float in the air for a few seconds.

Ocarina of Time
Octoroks appear as aquatic enemies in Ocarina of Time. For this reason they are found in nearly any place that has water. They usually lurk under the surface of the water, but when Link gets close they pop up and spit rocks at him. If Link gets too close, they will retreat back into the water. They can be defeated with the use of any long ranged weapon or by deflecting the rocks the rocks they spit, with either the Hylian or Deku Shields. A larger version called Big Octo is the mini-boss of Lord Jabu Jabu's belly.

Majora's Mask
Octoroks in Majora's Mask are identical to their Ocarina of Time counterparts, periodically hopping out of the area in which they sit. They are not a hugely common enemy, but are present in nearly every location throughout the game. These little enemies will shoot rocks at Link when he is in range, which can be deflected by all shields except for the Mirror Shield. Unlike in Ocarina of Time, these Octoroks take 2 hits to kill. A new feature added to this game is that Octoroks can be made into floating platforms if frozen with ice arrows. They can be killed with the Hero's Shield, or any projectile weapon.

There are bigger variations of the standard Octorok called a Big Octo. These large enemies block paths in the Southern Swamp when it is filled with poison. They can be killed by either taking the boat ride and crashing into them, or using projectile weapons to attack them. They take only one hit to kill. Big Octos will suck Link in and spit him out, dealing a large amount of damage. Taking a picture of one for the Pictograph guy will grant you 20 rupees.

Oracle of Seasons
These Octoroks come in 2 colors, red and blue, like many other Octoroks, and still shoot rocks at Link. Red octoroks are generally weaker and defeated with one hit of Link's Sword. Blue variations are stronger and take two hits.

Oracle of Ages
They are very similar to the ones from Oracle of Seasons. (see above)

The Wind Waker
Octoroks in The Wind Waker seem much larger than in previous 3D titles, but can be defeated in much the same way. They are water dwelling enemies that live in the Forest Haven, the Forbidden Woods and the Great Sea. They come in 3 different variations: Rock Octorok, Bomb Octorok, and Big Octo.

Rock Octorok
The Rock Octoroks live in the Forest Haven and Forbidden Woods. Like their name implies, their only method of attacking is to spit rocks at Link when provoked. These rocks can be easily deflected by using Link's shield, killing them in the process. Link can also kill them with projectile weapons like the Boomerang or the Hero's Bow. It is impossible to kill them with just Link's sword as they will dive under the water if he gets too close.

Bomb Octorok
Bomb Octoroks are only found in the Great Sea, though there are a large amount of them. As their name implies, they shoot bombs at Link instead of rocks, which, naturally, cannot be deflected with his shield. Link can defeat them with the bow, the Boomerang or simply using Bombs. He could also just avoid them altogether.

Big Octo
Big Octo

Big Octos are much bigger than normal Octoroks, and also do not attack the same way. They are only found in specific areas around the Great Sea, and have either 4, 8, or 12 eyes. If there is a random flock of seagulls flying around one spot in the sea, there is a Big Octo there. Once Link approaches one, a whirlpool will surround him, and the Octo will rise out of the water. The eyes can be killed with either the Bombs, the Bow, or the Boomerang. Using the Boomerang requires the most hits, and the Bombs take only one. If Link is not fast enough, the Big Octo will suck him in and spit him out to a random island.

The Minish Cap
The Octoroks from The Minish Cap are much like the original ones. They are red and wander around in Hyrule Field, they shoot rocks at Link and can be dealt with by shooting arrows, bombing or just slashing them with Link's sword. The boss in the Temple of Droplets is a normal Octorok. But since Link was minimized he appears to be huge.
|}

Spirit Tracks
There are 2 kinds of Octoroks in this Spirit Tracks (explained below).

Octorok
These kinds appear in grassy areas and the Take'em All On challenge. They will continuously shoot rocks and sometimes may shoot unexpectedly at Link while he is off-screen. They are easily defeated with Link's sword.

Ocean Octorok
These appear underwater in the Ocean Realm. They may shoot ink at Link, causing them to mess up your map and leaving Link to clean it off. They can be defeated with the cannon.

Skyward Sword
Octoroks are now land creatures and they seem to resemble their counterparts from older 2D Zelda titles. They also have some similarities to Deku Scrubs from previous Zelda games. Octoroks will shoot rocks towards Link, but whenever Link comes close, they will hide under patches of grass. In order to defeat an Octorok, Link can deflect the rocks back by lunging his shield forward knocking the rock back towards the enemy. Link can also use the whip to pull the Octorok up from underground for a short period of time, allowing him to slash away with his sword.

Octorok (Grass)
Octorok (grass) are octopus-like creatures that hides beneath shrub-like camouflage. Similar to the Deku scrub in the way it shoots projectiles, the Octorok hides when approached but shoots at you from a distance.

To Kill: Either use shield bash on a projectile or vertically stike the projectile with your sword to send the enemies attack back to them.

Octorok (Rock)
Very similar to its Grass counterpart, the Octorok (Rock) shoots projectile rocks at Link form a distance which he must deflect using his shield in order to defeat. This version of the Octorok resides in the desert area of Skyward Sword. Unlike its counterpart, this Octorok has a mushroom-shaped rock atop its head, which it can hide under if Link ventures too close.

Octorok (Sky)
Trivia
* Beta Octoroks from a very early version of Ocarina of Time have the similarity with the original Octoroks design from 2D Zelda titles.
Majora's Mask
Dinofols take the same appearance as the previous game although they are given the ability to breath fire. They are encountered more frequently than in Ocarina of Time as well as earlier in the game. One is found as a mini-boss in the Woodfall Temple guarding the Hero's Bow. Two are in the Snowhead Temple, three in the Secret Shine, and one in Link's Moon Dungeon.
In Twilight Princess, Dinolfos are much more heavily armed and more difficult to defeat. Not only do they attack with daggers, but they can turn around and attack with their tails. The Ball and Chain can be used to momentarily stun them making them an easy target to your sword or being hit again with the Ball and Chain. Dinolfos can be found in the Temple of Time, City in the Sky, Hyrule Castle, and Cave of Ordeals. Nine successful strikes with the Master Sword will dispatch them.
Abysmal Leviathan Tentalus is the boss of the Sandship in Skyward Sword. The fight starts out in the control room beneath the ship. As you make your way back to the deck, Tentalus will send it's tentacles through the walls. Link must use a Skyward Strike to sever them. Upon reaching the ship deck, Tentalus will attempt to grab you with it's tentacles. These must be cut with a Skyward Strike. Tentalus will appear from the water. His single eye must be hit with an arrow at this time. Tentalus will fall. Link must run up to him, cut the tentacles surrounding his face, and attack the eye with his sword. After repeating twice more, Tentalus will begin to destroy the deck. A block will fall down and Link will have to climb it to reach the upper deck of the ship. Here, tentacles will begin to attack you by growing heads and charging. Use the same strategy as before to eventually defeat Tentalus.
Pieces of Heart can be found all over Zelda games. The amount to collect is usually four, but in Twilight Princess it was five, so the amount can vary. Collecting the correct amount rewards Link with a Heart Container. Each game has different amounts. Some have 20, some have 52. They are not that rare, though some of them take a long time to do, such as the 50 Gold Skulltula tokens required to get one of the heart pieces in Ocarina of Time.
ZeldaMasterhttps://www.zeldadungeon.net/wiki/index.php?title=Abysmal_Leviathan_Tentalus&diff=10933Abysmal Leviathan Tentalus2011-12-03T15:00:16Z
ZeldaMaster: Created page with "{{Boss |name = Abysmal Leviathan Tentalus |image = File:Tentalus.png Abysmal Leviathan Tentalus from Skyward Sword |game = [[The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword|Skywa..."

ZeldaMasterhttps://www.zeldadungeon.net/wiki/index.php?title=Tentalus&diff=10924Tentalus2011-12-03T14:37:30Z
ZeldaMaster: Redirected page to Abysmal Leviathan Tentalus

Deku Baba are common carnivorous plant enemies that have appeared in Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Spirit Tracks, and Skyward Sword. There are several types of Deku Babas as well as other enemies with very similar characteristics.

Appearances
Ocarina of Time
Deku Babas can be found within the Forest Temple, Kokiri Forest, Inside the Deku Tree, and at the Bottom of the Well. They have a large, bulbous head that is blue in color with purple speckles around the mouth. The inside of their mouth is a textured red and pink, and there are no noticeable teeth. Their body, in relation to their head, is very thin and green. They have little means of defense besides their lunging bite that they use to intimidate and attack with when provoked.

When Link approaches a Deku Baba, it reveals itself and lunges out with a fierce bite. The most effective forms of defense against a Deku Baba are to block with Link's shield or to simply back away. Since the Deku Baba is attached to the ground, it can only lunge our the length of its stem. Link can use projectile attacks such as a Deku Nut to stun a Deku Baba.

If a Deku Baba attacks you as it lunges out, it will trap you in its mouth and continue to deal small amounts of damage until it releases you. If it is stunned prior to detection, it will stand stick straight. However, if left unharmed, it will start to rotate in a circular motion as it un-stuns itself. This movement can also hurt Link if he stands too close without attacking. If you kill Deku Babas when they are lunging out to attack you, you will obtain Deku Nuts. If you kill them when they are standing straight up, you will obtain a Deku Stick.

In addition to standard Deku Babas there are two variations of the enemy in the form of a Big Deku Baba and a Withered Deku Baba.

Big Deku Baba
Big Deku Baba
A Big Deku Baba is a larger variation of the standard Deku Baba. While it is a bit stronger than a standard Deku Baba, it has the same primary attacks. Big Deku Baba are found in the Kokiri Forest and the Forest Temple when Link is an adult.

Withered Deku Baba
Withered Deku Baba
Withered Deku Babas are weaker versions of the standard Deku Baba. These fellows will not even attack Link and the only way to get hurt is for Link to walk directly into them. A single sword slash will defeat them, and they will always leave behind a Deku Stick as a reward. Withered Deku Baba can be found within the Kokiri Forest and Inside the Deku Tree. This variation of a Deku Baba can also be found within Majora's Mask.

Majora's Mask
Deku Baba in Majora's Mask appear in an identical fashion as they did within Ocarina of Time. Deku Babs remain Forest enemies, and they can be found within Termina Field, Southern Swamp, Woodfall Temple, and Sakon's Hideout.

Withered Deku Baba's also make a return in Majora's Mask and can be found similar Forest areas where standard Deku Babas can be found. Additionally there are two new variations of a Deku Baba in the form of a Bio Deku Baba and a Mini Baba.

Bio Deku Baba
Bio Deku Baba
Bio Deku Babas are alternate forms of Deku Babas, found hanging upside down from the ceiling or underneath lily pads. Bio Deku Babas can be found in Termina Field, Great Bay Temple, and Stone Tower Temple. Link can split them from the ceiling or their lily pads and they'll drop to the ground where they will continue to walk around. If Link tries to land on top of the lily pad where a Bio Deku Baba is hiding, it will flip around and harm him.

Mini Baba
Mini Baba
Mini Baba are tiny variations of Deku Babas that completely lack stems. Thus, these creatures won't reach out and harm Link. They can only hurt Link if he walks right into them. They are found exclusively within Southern Swamp and within underground caverns of Termina Field.

The Wind Waker
Deku Babas do not actually make an appearance in The Wind Waker. However, a very similar enemy known as a Boko Baba did and it shared many of the same characteristics.

Boko Baba
Boko Baba
Boko Babas are carnivorous plant enemies that live in the Forest Haven and the Forbidden Woods. They share many similar physical features and attributes with Deku Babas and it is possible that the Boko Babas are just evolved forms of Deku Babas.

Twilight Princess
Deku Babas in Twilight Princess share many of the same characteristics as their Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask counterparts, but they also have new abilities. This time, its head will actually grasp onto Link when it bites him and it will hold Link between its jaws. Link will have to move around quickly or perform a Spin Attack in order to free himself from the plants' grasp. Deku Baba can be taken out easily by stunning them with a projectile weapon, then slashing them with Link's sword. After defeating a Deku Baba, its head will dry up into a small sphere. This can be broken up to find Pumpkin Seeds which will serve as an ammunition for Link's Slingshot.

In Twilight Princess, there are many variations of Deku Babas. The standard Deku Baba retains its Forest Habitat, being found within the Faron Woods, Forest Temple, and strangely enough within the City in the Sky. However, there are now several new variations including a Baba Serpent, Big Baba, Twilit Baba, and even a full-out temple boss Diababa. All members of the Deku Baba family can be found within the same Forest areas, while Twilit Baba naturally can be only be found within the Twilight.

Baba Serpent
Baba Serpent
When battling a Deku Baba, Link can split the head of the enemy from its stem using several weapons including the Boomerang. After Link cuts its stem, it will slither along the ground, chomping its teeth and occasionally lunging towards Link. Link must then attack it, or it will grab a hold of Link. The only way to get out of its grip is to perform a spin attack. Baba Serpents can also be found hanging from the ceiling. Again, using projectile weapons to stun them can be very helpful. If left alone, these Baba Serpent can re-attach to their base to form Deku Babas.

Big Baba
Big Baba
A Big Baba is a much larger version of a Deku Baba found within the Forest Temple and the City in the Sky. These creatures have much larger range due to their long stems. Once one has been defeated, it will turn into a Deku Like. Throw a bomb into it to finish it off.

Diababa
Diababa
Twilit Parasite: Diababa is a large, three-headed version of a Deku Baba. It serves as the Temple boss within the Forest Temple. Link can use the dungeon item, the Gale Boomerang, to whirl a bomb into its mouth, knocking its head to the ground and temporarily stunning it. From here, Link can use the sword to attack the hidden eye inside the monster's mouth.

Twilit Baba
Twilit Baba
A Twilit Baba serves as the the Twilit version of a standard Deku Baba. They have a slightly different appearance but all of their attacks are the same. However, Twilit Babas cause more damage to Link than standard Deku Babas. When defeated two purple lines falldown and sometimes they leave behind hearts.

Spirit Tracks
Deku Babas did not actually make an appearance in Spirit Tracks. However, a very similar enemy known as a Fire Baba did and it shared many of the same characteristics.

Fire Baba
Fire Baba
Fire Babas share some of their characteristics with Deku Baba in that they are plant-like creatures sprung from the ground. Unlike standard Deku Babas, these creatures don't initially attack Link by biting him. Instead, they will shoot fireballs towards him. If Link can separate its head from its stem using the Whip, the Fire Baba will try to bite Link. They are found in the Goron Village and the Fire Sanctuary.

Skyward Sword
Deku Babas in Skyward Sword resemble their earlier counterparts but the method to defeat them has changed quite a bit. No longer can Link just use his sword to cut of the head of the Deku Baba, but instead, he needs to make precision sword slashes in the proper direction in order to harm them. There are two variations of Deku Baba within Skyward Sword, a standard blue one, as well as a more powerful golden variation.

Deku Baba come out from underground and try to bite Link if he gets too close. Deku Baba will open up their mouths horizontally or vertically and Link must use a proper sword slash to separate their mouths into two. Alternatively, Link can toss or roll a bomb towards a Deku Baba and it will gobble it up, causing the bomb to explode within its mouth.

Some Deku Babas can be seen hanging from walls or the ceiling, and they are out of reach from Link's sword. In order to defeat these fellows, Link must use the Beetle. After sending out the beetle, Link can track its direction so that it cuts down the Deku Babas from their stems. Unlike in Twilight Princess, once a Deku Baba is cut from its stem it will be defeated. Link can also use his bow and arrows to cut these Deku Babas from their stems.

Quadro Baba
Quadro Baba
The Quadro Baba is a stronger variation of the standard Deku Baba. It attacks Link in all the same ways that a standard Deku Baba does by lunging towards Link and attempting to bite him. Its mouth is divided into quarters, rather than the two halves of a standard Deku Baba. The Quadro Baba will change how its mouth opens mid-battle, sometimes opening horizontally and other times opening vertically. Link will need to read which way the mouth opens and quickly deliver a sword slash in the proper direction. Quadro Babas are also a bit stronger and will take multiple hits to defeat. Much like standard Deku Babas, Link can toss or roll a bomb towards the Quadro Baba to defeat it.

Non-Canon appearances
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
A Deku Baba is featured as a sticker within Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The sticker gives a bonus of +4 to arm and leg attacks and can be applied to anyone.

Trivia
*Deku Baba share many physical attributes with Piranha Plants from the Super Mario Bros. Franchise.
Dinolfos are enemies found in a number of games in the Zelda series. They are only found in dungeons, the Gerudo Training Grounds, and the Secret Shrine. Dinolfos appear to be well suited to fight and tend to be harder to defeat than their less armed counterpart the Lizalfos. Upon sighting Link, this creature will immediately run up to him and start attacking.

Variations
Ocarina of Time
Dinolfos are found sparingly throughout the game appearing only in the Gerudo Training Grounds and Ganon's Tower. They are vulnerable to both Link's sword and arrows. Deku Nuts also work very well against them as they will be stunned for a short period of time.

Twilight Princess
In Twilight Princess, Dinolfos are much more heavily armed and more difficult to defeat. Not only do they attack with daggers, but they can turn around and attack with their tails. The Ball and Chain can be used to momentarily stun them making them an easy target to your sword or being hit again with the Ball and Chain. Dinolfos can be found in the Temple of Time, City in the Sky, Hyrule Castle, and Cave of Ordeals. Nine successful strikes with the Master Sword will dispatch them.

Magic Beans, first appearing in Ocarina of Time, are useful items which allow Link to find shortcuts and even Pieces of Heart. They can only be planted in soft soil locations.

Ocarina of Time
The Magic Beans in Ocarina of Time can only be bought from the Bean Seller which raises the price 10 Rupees whenever he sells some. There are only ten Magic Beans available in this game. The plants the Beans create are used to find Pieces of Heart and shortcuts.

Majora's Mask
In Majora's Mask Magic Beans can be bought from not one, but two people: the Bean Seller from Ocarina of Time, and a Business Scrub. They cost a lot less than the ones in Ocarina of Time. These ones can be used to find secrets and even can be used to complete the Swamp Spider House.
The Bomb is a classic Zelda item throughout the series, and it has appeared in every Zelda game except The Adventure of Link. Bombs are most often used to blow up walls to uncover secrets, and they are regularly stored in a Bomb Bag. Different varieties and uses of bombs have been seen throughout the Zelda series.

Varieties
Bomb Arrow
In Link's Awakening one can combine Bombs with the Bow, creating Bomb Arrows which could reach Link can not get to himself. In Twilight Princess Bomb Arrows are equippable, making them much easier to use.

Bomb Flower
Bomb Flowers are most commonly found in volcanic areas such as Death Mountain, Dragon Roost Island, and Eldin Volcano. To use a Bomb Flower Link must pick it up and then throw it wherever he wants to. In Ocarina of Time Link must acquire the Goron Bracelet before he can pick up Bomb Flowers. In Skyward Sword Link can put Bomb Flowers in his Bomb Bag for later use.

Bombchu
Bombchu
In Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages and Phantom HourglassBombchus move forward until they hit something and blow up. They are able to crawl on walls and ceilings. In Ocarina of Time, they are used in the Bombchu Bowling Alley as well as for a puzzle in the Spirit Temple.

Powder Keg
Powder Keg
In Majora's Mask the Powder Keg is a more powerful bomb that can only be used by Link in his Goron form. To get a license, Link must use a Powder Keg to blow up the rock blocking the entrance to the Goron Racetrack. Later on, he can use it to blow up the giant rock in front of Romani Ranch on the first day in order to get Epona back and complete other sidequests before the third day (when the rock is broken by the carpenter). It is also used in Ikana Castle to create a hole in the roof. You cam only carry one at a time because they are so heavy.

Blast Mask
Blast Mask
The Blast Mask is another unique bombing item from Majora's Mask. It is a mask that can be used to blow up things very similar to Bombs. When the Blast Mask is used it will take a while to charge up again, and it will also hurt Link. However, if he uses his shield when activating the Blast Mask, he will not take any damage. Link gets this item by saving the Old Woman on the first night who would otherwise be robbed by Sakon.

Water Bomb
In Twilight Princess Link can carry Water Bombs which can explode under water. To place a Water Bomb in the water Link must be submerged in the water and wearing the Iron Boots. Water Bombs can be purchased early on in the game from Barnes, and later ,if Malo opens his shop in Castle Town, the Water Bombs can be purchased there for a very low price. To get the water bombs for free, Link can fish in a place with Bombfish(Lakebed Temple for instance). He can catch them and store them in his Bomb Bag.

Bombling
Bombling
Bomblings are an enemy found in the Forest Temple in Twilight Princess. However, after Link completes the Lakebed Temple, the bomb shop in Kakariko Village will carry them in item form. Link can hold 10 in his normal bomb bag. Bomblings act like Bombchus, moving forward after they are placed. Unlike Bombchus, Bomblings are unable to move on walls and ceilings.

Skyward Sword
The functions of the normal bomb have been very much improved in Skyward Sword. Instead of just being able to place and throw Bombs, Link can roll them across the ground or toss them, giving him more control over their motion and where they land. Now, Link can also store Bomb Flowers in his Bomb Bag. Also, if Link tries to use a bomb when he is on fire, it will immediately explode in his hands.
