Zirro is an enemy that appears within A Link to the Past.

Blue Zirro
Blue Zirro are found around the Ice Lake within the Dark World. These winged mushrooms hover around in certain areas until Link draws near. When Link is around, the Blue Zirro flies in close proximity to Link, but still in somewhat of a random pattern. Blue Zirro have no means to attack Link other than simply flying into him. Fortunately, this doesn't do much damage at all as it takes away just one heart from Link.

Blue Zirro are more of an annoyance than actually a difficult enemy. If Link tries to swipe at a Blue Zirro, it immediately flies away from Link. This makes it rather difficult to defeat these enemies from up close, but it also makes it easy to repel them away from Link. Link can defeat these enemies with two strikes from the Master Sword. Link can also use projectile items such as the Bow and Arrow, in which it also takes two hits to defeat.

left

Green Zirro
Green Zirro are significantly more dangerous than their Blue counterparts. This variation has the ability to shoot seed bombs from its mouth. These bombs drop to the ground and create a small explosion. If Link is hit by these seed bombs, it does two full hearts of damage. Furthermore, the Green Zirro uses this attack in rapid succession, so it can be quite difficult to avoid.

Despite its more powerful attack method, the Green Zirro is actually weaker than its Blue Zirro counterpart. It takes just one hit from Link's Master Sword to defeat. Despite its weaker health though, its added attack makes it the much more dangerous variation.

The Bomber is a mushroom-like enemy that has grown wings and can fly at great speeds from Link's Awakening. This foe's name originates from the fact that it attacks by dropping bomb's on its foe's head.

The Bomber is a dangerous flying enemy that is located around the central part of Koholint Island. They fly around the screen, dropping bombs at random. Unless Link is very close to them, attacking a Bomber with Link's sword is not advisable, since they usually dodge close attacks. Unless Link has the Boomerang or Magic Rod, it would be best to stay away from them as much as possible, attacking from a distance using the aforementioned items.

In small areas, Bombers can be nearly impossible to avoid. Never stand in place when a bomber is near Link; always keep moving. The best item to use against a bomber is the magic powder. Sprinkling the magic powder on a Bomber turns it into a fairy, and may be worth the risk.
Cukeman is an enemy in the Zelda Series frequently featured in 2D titles.

Appearances
A Link to the Past
Cukemen are the mysterious transfigured form of a Buzz Blob. Sprinkling Magic Powder on a buzz blob will make it turn into a Cukeman. The Cukeman will still hurt Link if he bumps into it, so he must not let his guard down. Any range weapons, such as Hookshot or the Bow are quite effective to kill them. Unlike any other enemy in the game, Link can communicate with a Cukeman. If Link speak with one, it will say random phrases such as:-
* "Tra la la, look for Sahasrahla. ... ... ..."
* "Oh yah, you found Sahasrahla! ... ... ... Good job la la!"

If a Cukeman is frozen with the Ice Rod or Ether Medallion, then smashed with the Magic Hammer, it will turn back into a Buzz Blob again instead of shattering. It is also an answer for tenth riddle ("The spectacled wanderer... what is it?" ) in the Riddle Quest in the Game Boy Advance port of A Link to the Past.

Link's Awakening
Like in A Link to the Past, sprinkling Magic Powder on a Buzz Blob will make it turn into a Cukeman. The Cukeman will still damage Link if he comes in direct contact with them. If Link speak with one, it will say random phrases to him such as:-
* "Hey mon!"
* "You know me, I like short names the best..."
* "It can display millions of polygons!"
* "I definitely need it, as soon as possible!"

In German version of Link's Awakening, Buzz Blob will say some weird phrases that is censored in US version of the game such as:

Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons
Sprinkle a Mystery Seed on the Buzz Blob to turn it into a Cukeman. If Link speak with one, it will say random phrases to him such as:-
* "Feel my cold, steely gaze!!!"
* "I'm so sleepy."
* "I want to ride a plane. Anywhere is fine."
* "I wish I could go to a tropical southern island."
* "I want a nice tropical vacation."
Because it is a market fresh Fish,OoSOoS it is Ingo's dinner as well as Mittens' favorite food. The Fish's sprite is blue, leading one to believe it might have been designed after the real world Bluefish.

The Fish is received from Ingo, a vase collectorOoS who lives by his lonesome in a house in Sunken City. As a vase collector, Ingo greatly desires the Goron Vase, a vase that Biggoron has. However, no matter how many times Ingo asks Biggoron for the vase, he won't give it to Ingo, even in exchange for a Fish.OoS If Link has collected the Goron Vase and talks to Ingo, Ingo sees the vase and begs Link to give it to him.OoS After placing it nicely into his collection, Ingo rewards Link with the Fish.

The Fish can be used to acquire the eighth item of the sequence, the Megaphone. The Megaphone can be obtained from Mittens' Owner, a man found in the southern portion of North Horon. Mittens' Owner's cat, Mittens, is at the top of a tree, and refuses to come down.OoS However, if Link brings the Fish to Mittens' Owner, he asks to have it so he can get Mittens down. After thanking Link for the Fish,OoS he uses the Fish to successfully get Mittens to come down. Overwhelmed with joy, Mittens' Owner rewards Link with the Megaphone.OoS
Twilight Princess
Fish in Twilight Princess are found in most ponds and rivers. They are only used in the game for Fishing, which Link can start as soon as he collects the Fishing Rod from Uli. Depending on whether the game is being played on the GameCube or Wii, the controls are fairly different.

Link only has to fish twice for the main quest, with all other fishing opportunities completely optional. The first required use is in Ordon Village, where Link has to use the Fishing Rod to catch two Greengills, which causes Sera's cat to grab the Fish and return it to Sera. The second time is in the quest to climb Snowpeak, as Link has to catch the rare Reekfish to gain the Reekfish Scent, which Link can use to climb the mountain.

After Link acquires the Fishing Rod, the Fish Journal appears in the Collection Screen. This journal records every Fish Link collects, including the largest type of each Fish caught. However, Fish caught in Hena's Fishing Hole do not count; only Fish caught in the overworld count for this journal.

Twilight Princess features one of the widest variety of Fish in any game in the series. They are six types in total, the same amount found in Phantom Hourglass.

Greengill
Greengill
The Greengill is a Fish found exclusively in Twilight Princess. It is a very common fish, being found in most bodies of water. They are very easy to catch, as they hardly fight back against the line. They are small in size and are colored green and yellow with a wavy stripe along its side. The largest known caught is 16 inches.

Hyrule Bass
Hyrule Bass
The Hyrule Bass, called the "definitive lake fish" by Hena, is a common fish. It has a green top and white bottom with a pattern on the middle. This fish is also found in Ocarina of Time. The largest known caught is 21 inches.

Hylian Pike
Hylian Pike
The Hylian Pike is also known in-game as the 'star of jumping fish'. It has a long body with a white zigzag pattern going down it. The recommended lures are the Spinner Lure and Frog Lure. It is very popular amongst the anglers because of its eyes. The largest known fish caught is 27 inches.

Ordon Catfish
Ordon Catfish
The Ordon Catfish is green with swirling patterns along its side, and is fairly common. It has what appears to be whiskers on its face, hence the "catfish" designation. It is unpopular with the anglers being called 'too slimy'; if one is caught in the presence of Hena, she tells Link to throw it back. The recommended lure is the Popper Lure. The largest known caught is 25 inches.

Reekfish
Reekfish
The Reekfish is a bright red fish which is only found near the Mother-and-Child Rocks in Zora's Domain. The Reekfish is used by Yeto to help cure Yeta's sickness. The fish has a very strong smell which helps Wolf Link to find the Yeti. The Reekfish can only be caught using the Coral Earring given to Link by Prince Ralis. The Reekfish is known to have a horrid stench, but is fairly nutritious.

Hylian Loach
Hylian Loach
The Hylian Loach is a large, rare fish that appears in Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess. The Loach looks like a cross between the catfish and the pike.

Skullfish
Skullfish
The Skullfish is an illegal fish so it it is not recorded in Link's Fish Journal. They are found around Lakebed Temple and in secret caves located around Hyrule Field. They drop a heart when released. It looks like a fish that had been striped of its flesh.

Bombfish
Bombfish
The Bombfish is a fish that looks like a fish with a bomb in its mouth. It is found inside Lakebed Temple and inside hidden caves around Hyrule Field. The Bombfish can be kept for an under-water bomb. It does not have an entry in the Fish Journal like the Skullfish.

Phantom Hourglass
In Phantom Hourglass, Link can fish off his boat provided he obtained the Fishing Rod from the Old Wayfarer. There are six types of fish for him to catch, and if he manages to catch a Neptoona, he will be rewarded with a Heart Container from the Old Wayfarer.

Skippyjack
Skippyjack
The Skippyjack is a common fish easy to catch due to not zig-zaging or jumping too much. It is mostly found on the south-west section of the sea. After Link obtains the Big Catch Lure, the Skippyjack becomes more rare.

Toona
Toona
The Toona is also a common fish, but not as common as the Skippyjack. The Toona is still as common with the Big Catch Lure. The Old Wayfarer will not be impressed if Link shows him the fish.

Loovar
Loovar
The Loovar is a large and rare fish. It is rare with the normal lure, but if caught and taken back to the Old Wayfarer, he will reward Link with the Big Catch Lure. After that, the Loovar becomes much more common.

Stowfish
Stowfish
The Stowfish is a fish that can not be caught in the normal manner. Instead, Link will find it on another large fish with the Loovar being the minimum size. If Link takes a Stowfish back to the Old Wayfarer, he will be rewarded with a Ship Part.

Rusty Swordfish
Rusty Swordfish
The Rusty Swordfish is a large fish. It is so large the Salvage Arm is needed to hold it. This fish can only be caught with the Big Catch Lure. It is rarely found in the shadow of the smaller fish and much more often found in the shadow of the swordfish.

Neptoona
Neptoona
The Neptoona is a very large fish taking up both screens of the DS. It can only be caught once Link shows the Old Wayfarer a Rusty Swordfish. The fish is a gargantuan, blue swordfish with a serrated bill with various green-blue markings. If Link shows the fish to the Old Wayfarer, he gives Link a Heart Container. The name is a pun on the Greek god Neptune and the fish Toona also found in the game.

Spirit Tracks
The fish in Spirit Tracks are an object used for delivery. Link can buy 20 fish for 50 Rupees. The Fish can be taken to the Fish Saleswoman in Hyrule Castle Town for a Force Gem. It is not necessary to bring Mega Ice to the fish saleswoman in order to buy fish because all he needs is the cargo carriage. But, the Fish Saleswoman will not accept Mega Ice until the Fire Temple is completed.
A minigame is a sub-game within the actual game. There are many minigames within The Legend of Zelda series and often upon completion of them, Link is awarded an item, including Pieces of Heart, larger Quivers, Rupees, and more.
The Legend of Zelda
There are a few Mini-Games in The Legend of Zelda. The first is the Money Making Game. Here, Link pays 20 Rupees and he gains the chance of winning money. There is one other Mini-Game, much like this game, except Link pays Rupees for information. This is questionably a Mini-Game, as it does not involve much chance or strategy.
