The Null's Body Walkthrough is a full guide for completing Null's Body, the final dungeon featured in Echoes of Wisdom. This includes navigating the dungeon and taking on the final boss, Null.
- Follow Link through the first couple rooms until the door closes behind you and a pair of Tecuum. They will fly into Zelda, spawning a variety of Dark enemies. This triggers a gauntlet of enemies that will continuously come for awhile. Link will fight these from a distance, but Zelda can help by spawning various echoes.
- There are two primary strategies here. Zelda can spawn a powerful Lynel Echo, who can take them out quickly, but the enemies may occasionally come after Zelda. Alternatively, Zelda can flood the room with smaller echoes that only take one triangle of power. This preoccupies the dark enemies, allowing Zelda to run around and letting Link do much of the work. After fighting a Dark Lynel and defeating it, head up through the door that opens.
- Zelda and Link will be put on separated paths in the next room. With Zelda on the right side, spawn a Buzz Blob Echo to the right by standing at the edge of the platform and holding it down. Next, use bind and grab it. Carry it up to the orb, which will activate and open both of the doors.
- Another room with a variety of dark enemies. Spawn a Lynel echo to take care of the enemies on your side. Zelda can spawn an echo on Link's side to help him out as well.
- In the next room, climb down the steps to reach an underground area. Use bind on the moving platform and then Reverse Bond to allow it to carry you to the left.
- Jump on the second moving platform and ride it all the way to the left. Then, use bind on the moving platform above. Use Reverse Bond and let it carry you up and to the left. Continue to the left a screen.
- Use a Mothula Echo and fly across the room. The Mothula can used for several puzzles in a row. Once you reach the top-left of the room, use Old Bed Echoes to climb up and out of the room.
- Continue to the next room to find Link on the right side. Drop to the lowest part of the room and use Bind to grab Link. Jump up to two levels to the highest part on the left side. Walk all the way to the left side to extend the bind and then walk right. Carry Link and jump so that he lands on the highest ledge to the right. Link will then break the barrier, step on the switch and the pair can head up a screen.
- Follow Link across the next couple rooms and then leap off the ledge to encounter the final boss, Null.
Use a Lynel Echo to fight the enemies, including the Dark Lynel Charge a Buzz Blob Echo and spawn it on the right Grab it with bind and carry it to the switch to open the door Grab onto the platform with bind and use reverse bond to be carried across Use a Mothula Echo to glide over the gap Place some Old Bed Echoes and climb up Leap off the ledge to encounter Null
Null, First Form
- Null will use the Prime Energy piece the Zelda Echo obtained, creating massive rifts that spread all over Hyrule, then the battle with Null will begin.
- Null will have three hands that extend in each direction. Zelda can use bind and pull back on one of the hands. While doing so, Link will charge a spin attack and release, severing the hand from Null.
- Repeat this process with all three hands. Once they have all been cut-off, Null will be stunned. Use an attack to attack alongside Link to deal damage on Null.
- Null will then enter the wall, with three hands reaching out trying to grab Zelda. The hands will also launch attacks out towards Zelda, which can be avoided by continuously moving.
- Once again pull the hands with bind and Link will attack, cutting the arms. After cutting all three arms, Null will return to the battlefield.
- The battle repeats at this point, so once again pull the three hands and cut them off. Null will once again move into the wall. This time the hands might form a puddle of goo, which will damage Zelda if she steps in it.
- Cut the arms to get Null back out again and repeat the same process again. Null will spawn more of this goo on the battlefield, so be sure to avoid it. After hitting Null enough times, it will escape into a void. Zelda will chase after, but Link will be left behind.
Use bind to pull back on one of its arms
Null, Second Form
- The second form of Null plays out similar to parts of the Vocavor battle from the Jabul Ruins. Zelda will be underwater, having to chase after Null, which has grown some tentacles out of its back. A Dark Vocavor will also appear during this battle, summoning whirlpools.
- Zelda will slowly be losing air, so she'll need to occasionally swim into the air bubbles that are underwater to avoid drowning. Equipping the Zora Scale accessory will slow the air loss.
- Zelda should use a water-based echo, such as a Chompfin Echo, to attack the tentacles of Null. Simply release some of these when nearby and let the echoes attack.
- The Chompfins will attack the tentacles and then the main body of Null, before the tentacles then grow back. Vocavor will continue to spawn more whirlpools, some of which are massive in size. Just keep avoiding the whirlpools, grab some air bubbles, and keep releasing Chompfins at the boss.
- Later in the battle some Dark Biri will appear, trying to shock Zelda. Just avoid them and continue to attack Null until this form of the boss is defeated. Null will travel back through the void and Zelda will follow suit, rejoining up with Link.
a Dark Vocavor will appear to summon whirlpools Use a Chompfin Echo to attack Null
Null, Final Form
- Null's final form is similar to his first, except this time the boss has five hands. The strategy doesn't change and Zelda will once again need to use bind to pull the arms, allowing Link to slash away.
- This time however, Null will transform into different forms more quickly, limiting the time Zelda has to pull on the arms. Null will transform into many of the various bosses that Zelda encountered earlier in her quest, including a Seismic Talus, Mogryph, Ganon, Gohma, and Skorchill. During the initial phase, Null will spawn dark version of the Seismic Talus and Mogryph. As the battle progresses, Null will spawn multiples of these bosses at once, filling the screen.
- After all five hands have been pulled away, use an echo once again to directly attack Null's body.
- Null will then head back into the wall, with its hands coming out trying to attack Zelda. Null will also spawn smaller dark enemies at this point. Once again pull the hands and let Link break them to get Null to appear back on the main floor. In this second phase, Null will spawn multiple Ganons and a pair of Skorchills.
- Repeat the same process to pull the hands and Null will go back into the wall. Defeat the hands to pull Null back out.
- In the third phase, Null will now spawn six Ganons at the same time, as well as Gohma, who will shoot webs on the floor. Null will also spawn a Seismic Talus, Skorchills, and Mogryphs in combination with these enemies. The strategy doesn't change. Keep pull the arms and letting Link attack until Null.
- After Null is knocked down for a third time, Zelda can use bind to pull Null's segment of the Prime Energy out of its body. Link will help here, yanking the energy out and finally defeating Null.
Null will summon a Seismic Talus that will spin in the center of the room Mogryphs will also be summoned, launching hurricane attacks at Link and Zelda Null will summon multiple Ganons to attack As well as some Skorchills Gohma may appear and release webs on the battlefield After the third phase is complete, use bind to pull the Prime Energy
The End
- With the power of the Prime Energy, Zelda and Link will have defeated Null. Using the power of Tri's friends, all of the rifts throughout Hyrule will be mended.
- Tri will give a final farewell to Zelda and depart. Zelda and Link will then appear back in Hyrule Castle Town, where they are joined in celebration by many of the town's residents, including the King of Hyrule.
- This will trigger the final staff roll, and a series of pictures showing epilogues for various characters. Congratulations on completing The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
