The Faron Wetlands Walkthrough is a full guide for reaching Faron Wetlands, navigating Scrubton, and entering the the Faron Temple.

Scrubton

  • There is no direct path to arriving at the Faron Wetlands, which is located at the southeast part of Hyrule. From Hyrule Castle, travel southeast. Just east of Lake Hylia, use echoes like Water Block Echoes or Strandtula Echoes to get on top of the trees and onto the higher ledges.
  • At the far northwest of the Wetlands, just northwest of the marker that is on the map, there is a Waypoint. Continue towards the marker on the map and you'll get an overview of the Faron Wetlands. This will also begin the A Rift in the Faron Wetlands quest.
  • Travel eastward and it will begin to rain. Whenever in the Wetlands it is raining, this means that there is an enemy Drippitune around. Zelda should defeat this enemy and learn the Drippitune Echo, as we'll need it a bit later.
  • Continue eastward speaking with some Deku Scrubs, heading towards the large rift. You'll eventually reach what is known as The Sweet Spot. However, the Deku Scrubs mention that it is for members only and you'll need a Membership Card in order to enter.
  • Travel just south of the sweet spot and Zelda will arrive at Scrubton, home of the Deku Scrubs. An overview of the town shows several of the Deku Scrubs eating some Cotton Candy.
  • Speak to the pair that are eating the cotton candy and they will mention that a deku scrub down at Heart Lake is a member. They mention that Heart Lake is to the southwest.

Heart Lake (Optional)

  • Make your way towards the far southwest end of the Faron Wetlands. Along the way, Zelda will confront a variety of enemies that she can avoid or defeat if she wants to learn their echoes. This includes a Piranha Echo, Giant Goponga Flower Echo, Baby Gohma Echo, Hoarder Echo, and a Buzz Blob Echo.
  • Once Zelda arrives at Heart Lake, she can activate the Waypoint and then speak to the nearby Deku Scrub. The scrub was supposed to meet a special somebody, but they aren't there and instead, there is a rift breaking Heart Lake in half. Have Tri open a portal and jump into the Stilled Heart Lake.
  • Head up and defeat the Baby Gohma and the Deku Baba Lv. 2. Use echoes to reach the web, and then use an Ignizol Echo to light the web and find the first group of Tri's friends.
  • Just to the right there is another lot of Tri's friends behind a web. Use a Fire Keese Echo, or other echoes along with an Ignizol Echo to burn the web down.
  • Climb up to the top and use an Ignizol to burn the web on the ground to find another set of Tri's friends.
  • Use echoes to reach the northwest part of the area and then dive into the water to get to an underwater region.
  • Swim to the left and place a Bombfish Echo to the right. Stand a bit to the left of it and use Bind to grab it. Then swim down and hold the echo so it blasts the cracked block. Swim over and get the next group of Tri's friends.
  • Swim around, defeat the Bio Deku Baba and collect the last of Tri's friends.
  • With the Rift mended, Zelda can ask about a Membership Card. They won't give one to Zelda as they want to use the card to go on a date at the Sweet Spot. However, they mention there is a Deku Scrub named Blossu, at the southeast corner of the wetlands who has a card.

Blossu's House

  • From Heart Lake, head directly east and you'll eventually come across a cave. Inside, the cave is dark with enemy Hoarders. If Zelda defeats them, their light will no longer shine, making it even darker. Continue through the dark cave. You can head up, leading to a puzzle where you need to light torches to get some rupees. There is also a Piece of Heart on the higher ledge at the south end of the room. After collecting these, exit the room to appear a bit further east in the Faron Wetlands.
  • Defeat the Electric Wizzrobe and learn the Electric Wizzrobe Echo if you'd like. Then continue to the east to find a group of Deku Scrubs. The Scrub with the flower on their head is Blossu, and their home just to the east is now covered by a rift. Make your way over with Tri and enter the Stilled Blossu's House.
  • Cross the web on the right and youl'l find a Giant Goponga Flower. Just behind it there is a web, with some of Tri's friends. Burn the web and save them from the purple goo.
  • Climb the wall and you'll find a Dark Giant Goponga Flower on the left. Its easiest to burn the web that is above the enemy and then use an echo to defeat it to find more of Tri's friends.
  • Zelda can also jump just to the left to find a trio of Deku Babas, with another group of Tri's friends here.
  • Climb up to the top of the wall and then head down the ladder that is in the hole. At the left side of the room, use a Strandtula Echo to climb up and then use Bombfish to clear the blocks. After using another Strandtula, defeat the Deku Baba and break more blocks to get Tri's friends.
  • Back outside travel towards the northest part of the area where there are some flames. Zelda can still use Old Bed Echoes to get over the flames, but she needs to place them a bit lower, so they don't get burned. Clear the web on the right side to get the last of Tri's friends, which will clear the rift.

Deku Scrub Lockup

  • After clearing the rifts, the Deku Scrubs around are actually upset, as this means no more "dark thorns" there; meaning less webs, and fewer ways of creating Cotton Candy. They grab Zelda and imprison her in the Deku Scrub Lockup. The Deku Scrub who puts Zelda in a cell will give her a Stick, but will take away all of her items. On the way out, however, they drop the Lockup Key.
  • Zelda can use Bind and pull the Lockup Key over to herself. The Key can unlock the doors in this area and throughout the lockup. The lockup to the east has a red rupee. Zelda should head down the stairs at the northwest corner of the room.
  • Zelda will need to use stealth to sneak by the Deku Scrubs. As she doesn't have her Tri Rod she cannot summon any Echoes. Simply wait until the Deku Scrubs are looking away and then sneak by. Just be patient and, at the end of the room, head down the stairs.
  • On the lower level, Zelda can move the Decorative Shrubs to reach a room to the north. Here she can arrange the different objects to create a staircase to get a Piece of Heart.
  • Back in the room below, Zelda can pull one of the beds from the cells out and use it, along with the unlit Brazier, allowing her to reach the door on the right.
  • The Deku Scrub here is the one who took the Tri Rod, and is using it as a Cotton Candy stick. He'll give it and her other items back before leaving the room. Hit the switch and head through the open door.
  • Climb down the stairs on the right; there are more Deku Scrubs that Zelda needs to sneak by. This time, she has the Tri Rod, so she can make Echoes. Enemy echoes scare the Deku Scrubs, meaning they don't pay attention to Zelda. Reach the right of the room and head through the door.
  • Drop down into the well and use Bind to move, or Bombfish Echoes to break the Wooden Boxes.
  • In the center of the room there are some wooden boxes and there are numerous ways to get beyond the water here. Zelda can pull a few of the wooden boxes out and then use an echo, such as an Old Bed Echo on top of it to get past the water.
  • At the far right of the room, there are multiple ways to navigate by the flowing water. The simplest way is to create a Platboom in the water and use it to right up to the ledges. Alternatively, Zelda can stack a number of Wooden Boxes on top of each other, which will float upward, allowing her to reach the higher ledge. Climb the ladder to escape the Deku Scrub Lockup.
  • Once outside, Zelda will find Blossu, who will give her the Membership Card.

Stilled Faron Wetlands

  • Make your way over to The Sweet Spot, north of Scrubton. Speak to the Deku Scrubs here and after showing the Membership Card, Zelda will be allowed in.
  • Inside, the rift will grow, swallowing up some of the scrubs here. A Tecuum will appear and it will spawn a pair of Dark Strandtulas when it hits Zelda. Clear the enemies and then have Tri open a portal in the rift, leading down to the Stilled Faron Wetlands.
  • The path is initially fairly straight forward, with a number of Deku Babas and Deku Baba Lv. 2s. Clear them and open the chest along the way to get a red rupee. Zelda will also find an Electric Keese, which she can defeat with projectile attacks to learn the Electric Keese Echo.
  • Zelda will need to have a Drippitune Echo for this next part. If she doesn't have one, there is one at the far northwest corner of this area, but it is surrounded by numerous other enemies.
  • If Zelda defeats the Drippitune, it will stop raining. This allows her to burn the webs in the regions. One of the webs to the east is covering a treasure chest which contains a Golden Egg.
  • Most of the area is raining, but at the northeast corner, there is a wall of flames blocking an entrance. Drop a Drippitune Echo and its singing will summon water, causing the flames to go out.
  • Make your way through the underground area. In the second area there are three green switches that are triggered by electricity. Summon Buzz Blob Echoes or Electric Wizzrobe Echoes to activate them. Remember, you can create echoes at a distance by holding the button to charge the Tri Rod and releasing it in the direction Zelda is facing. With all three electrified, head through the door. After a short scene, head up and enter the cave to find yourself within the Faron Temple.
