Location

The Town Guard is a character featured in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.

Overview

The Town Guard is one of the first characters that Tingle interacts with as he protects the entrance to the Port Town. If Tingle tries to walk by, he'll strike his spear on the ground, preventing Tingle from passing.[1] Tingle will need to pay 5 Rupees in order to enter town.[2]

Tingle can pay the Guard to get further hints about what is going on in town.[3] He gives an introduction how Port Town works as it will require Tingle to give rupees to people in order to get information. If Tingle gives the Town Guard less than five rupees, he guard won't give Tingle much of a hint, just saying he needs to pay more in order to be able to hear more.[4] Providing at least 5 rupees for the Town Guard will get the guard to explain that the more Tingle provides, the more information the townsfolk will provide.[5]
