The Symmetry Secret is a Secret from Oracle of Seasons used within Oracle of Ages. Link will first need to complete Oracle of Ages and start a Linked Game record of Oracle of Seasons.
Learn the Secret
The Symmetry Secret can first be learned during Link's journey after Link has completed Snake's Remains. Link must return to Holly's House two screens east of the dungeon and enter through the chimney by changing the season to winter on the nearby Tree Stump. Once inside, a friend of Holly's will be there. She will ask Link to give her thanks to the authors of her favorite book, a pair of twins who lived in Labrynna's Symmetry City, but that they lived so long ago they may be gone.[1]
Tell the Secret
Return to the Oracle of Ages game and head over to the Middle House. Tell the secret to one of the twins, located on either side of the house. When talking to her, she will ask if Link needs anything [2] After telling her the secret, she says she had no idea other people knew the strengths of symmetry.[3] As a reward for telling her the secret, Tingle will upgrade Link's Ring Box. If he has the Ring Box L-2 he will receive the Ring Box L-3 which holds five rings. If he still has the Ring Box L-1, he will receive the Ring Box L-2 which holds three rings, and can upgrade to the L-3 box later by obtaining the other upgrade. If Link does not have a Ring Box, she will give him her Ring Box L-1 [4], which can be upgraded later.
