He is the first elder you meet in the Goron Mines, and gives you the first Boss Key Shard. After you beat the [[Goron Mines]], he is the only one of the three elders holding the key shards to not climb down the mountainand stay in [[Kakariko Village]], rather he stays with the Gorons and manages Death Mountain with [[Gor Coron]]
