[[Link]] fights the King Bulbin on this bridge early in the game, to rescue [[Colin]].  After obtaining the second [[Fused Shadow]], Link crosses the bridge on the way to [[Lanayru Province]].  After crossing, a part of the bridge is warped away to the [[Gerudo Desert]] (although Link doesn't know where it goes until later in the game).  Until that part of the bridge is found, Link can't cross or warp to the bridge.
