The Temple Remains house two portals to Subrosia. One leads to a cave where a [[Subrosian]] can be found throwing valuable items into a pit of lava, attempting to cause an eruption. The second portal is located inside of a small building to the northwest of the area and leads to the [[Sword and Shield Maze]], the eighth dungeon of the game.

The default season for the Temple Remains is winter, and the area remains in winter even after Onox is defeated and the seasons are restored.
