The Hyrule Compendium is a basic feature of the [[Sheikah Slate]], which lists various Creatures, Monsters, Materials, Equipment and Treasure photographed by [[Link (Breath of the Wild)|Link]] during his travels through the various regions of [[Hyrule]]. | |||
Initially, it was corrupted along with the [[Camera (Rune)|Camera rune]] when Link woke up and found the Sheikah Slate in the [[Shrine of Resurrection]]. After Link meets her, [[Impa]] points him towards her sister [[Purah]] in the [[Hateno Ancient Tech Lab]] to repair it in the [[Locked Mementos]] main quest. After Link relights the [[Ancient Furnace]] at the tech lab, Purah uses the [[Guidance Stone]] to restore these functions, enabling the Hyrule Compendium for the first time. Information is added to the compendium by photographing items with potential entries using the Camera rune. | |||
