The South Lynna Old Woman is a character in Oracle of Ages.

Clock Shop Secret

After Link has completed the Skull Dungeon, the South Lynna Old Woman will appear in the present day, standing right by the Ember Tree, just south of the Lynna City Shop. She will recognize Link and will offer Link a useful tip. She tells Link that if Link digs just north of the Clock Shop in Horon Village, Link will find one of the Old Woman's Friends. She asks Link to tell him a secret.

In Oracle of Seasons, Link can visit the Old Man in Horon Village and take part in his challenge. After defeating 12 enemies in less than 30 seconds, the Old Man will mention that the Old Hag has chosen well. The Old Man will give Link the Noble Sword or the Master Sword.
