The Short Sword is a weapon in Cadence of Hyrule. It can only be used by Link and Shadow Link, functioning identically to the Dagger.

Effects

Short Swords deal damage to a single, adjacent enemy. They are the default weapon for Link.

Weapon	Obtaining	Description
Short Sword	If Link is awakened first, in the top-left corner of Link's House. Otherwise, unlocked from start.	Deals 1 damage to a single enemy in front of you.
Titanium Short Sword	Infuse a Short Sword with Titanium. A Titanium Short Sword can also be found in the blue Treasure Chest at Gerudo Desert, if opened by Link.	Deals 2 damage to a single enemy in front of you.
Ruby Short Sword	Infuse a Short Sword with Ruby. A Ruby Short Sword can also be found in the blue Treasure Chest at Lake Hylia, if opened by Link.	Deals 1 damage to a single enemy in front of you, and heals half a heart after defeating 5 enemies.
Emerald Short Sword	Infuse a Short Sword with Emerald. An Emerald Short Sword can also be found in the blue Treasure Chest at Lost Swamp, if opened by Link.	Deals 1 damage and poisons a single enemy in front of you.
Obsidian Short Sword	Infuse a Short Sword with Obsidian. An Obsidian Short Sword can also be found in the blue Treasure Chest at Death Mountain, if opened by Link.	Deals up to 3 damage depending on your beat combo to a single enemy in front of you.
Glass Short Sword	Dropped by enemies, or inside red Treasure Chests opened by Link.	Deals 3 damage to a single enemy in front of you. Breaks if you get hit.
Kokiri Sword	Located in the Future World. Automatically unlocked if the Jeweled Dagger is obtained as Cadence, Zelda, or Yves.	A legendary weapon. Deals 4 damage to a single enemy in front of you.
