The Safety Patrol[1] is an organization in Oracle of Seasons. The patrol consists of three children who made the group in order to protect Sunken City from monsters.[2]
After wondering through the Sunken City, Link finds Dimitri the Dodongo being surrounded by three children in the southwest portion of the city. The child wearing a green shirt on the left shouts that he has found something weird on the shore.[3] Another Safety Patrol member explains the creature as a monster who came to attack Sunken City.[4] The red-shirted child then starts attacking Dimitri in order to "protect" the city.[5] While the Safety Patrol is "protecting" the city, the children are helpless without weapons.[6] The child then asks Link if he has any bombs.[7] If Link says he doesn't have any bombs to give to the Safety Patrol, the child asks about the safety of the city.[8] When he tells the child he has bombs, the child takes the bombs away, and the Safety Patrol leaves Dimitri to patrol the city as there is nothing to fear now.[9] Dimitri thanks Link for saving him from the children, and to repay him, the Dodongo allows Link to get on his back to travel through water and up waterfalls.[10]
After Link and Dimitri have departed, he can meet the Safety Patrol again at the same place where they messed with Dimitri. Back from their patrol, the children notice the Dodongo is gone,[11] thinking that the monster got scared and ran off.[12] While they previously harassed him, they were going to let Dimitri join the Safety Patrol.[13]
If Link has obtained Dimitri's Flute already, Link does not meet the Safety Patrol.
