The Forest of Fairies is a small forest found at the top of Outset Island in The Wind Waker.
Overview
At the start of Link's quest, after acquiring the Telescope from Aryll, the Helmaroc King will appear, with Tetra in its grasp. After being hit by a rock by Tetra's Pirate Crew, the Helmaroc King releases Tetra, causing her to fall down into the Forest of Fairies. The path to enter the forest is blocked off by small trees, so Link will first need to acquire a Sword from Orca, before he can reach the forest. After running across a narrow wooden bridge, he'll find the entrance to the forest.
Inside the forest is where Link encounters his first enemies of the game, including a Bokoblin. Later aftering fighting two more Bokoblin, Link will save Tetra, causing Gonzo to appear within the forest. This eventualls leads to a scene where the Helmaroc King appears and kidnaps Aryll, just outside of the Forest of Fairies.
There is a small log on the ground near the entrance of the forest. Link can crawl through to find a Red Rupee inside.
Fountain of the Fortune Goddess

Within the Forest of Fairies, there is a large boulder that can be blown away with a Bomb. This reveals an entrance to the Fountain of the Fortune Goddess, a Great Fairy Fountain, where Link can get a Wallet Upgrade.
