Farore's Memory is a book that is placed next to Farore in Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons that records passwords used for a Linked Game Secret. Secrets are available in a Linked Game only. Once a secret has been obtained from a character in a Linked Game, it will appear in the list of secrets in Farore's Memory, along with the password that can be used. This password can be taken to other game in the linked pair and given to that game's Farore and it'll unlock that game's version of that secret. If it's the first password of a secret entered into the first game of a linked pair, a quest somewhere in the game world will be unlocked. After completing that quest, a password will be given, which will also appear in the list in Farore's Memory in that game, that will unlock that quest's reward in the second game of a linked pair when taken to the second game's Farore.
