- Defeat the enemy captains to lure out the commander.
- Defeat the enemy commander.

- Get the Fairy of Darkness, which is in the Keep near the start position. You'll need this for the Cia fight.
- When the baby Cucco appears, be sure to escort it to mom.
- When two rival Cuccos start fighting, you must defeat both of them to avoid starting a Cucco war. This is mostly optional, but taking them out will make the mission easier.
- A third Cucco will start following you around later on. You'll almost certainly enrage it. This can mostly be ignored.
