What if Link and Mario Switched Games on the Nintendo 64?

Link and Mario were certainly two of the biggest names on the Nintendo 64, setting the system apart with their many classic games. Though these Nintendo icons made quite the team on the N64, not many considered what would happen if Link explored Princess Peach’s castle in Super Mario 64 or if Mario journeyed through Hyrule in Ocarina of Time. Fortunately, YouTube’s SwankyBox recently asked the very interesting question, “What if Mario and Link switched games on the Nintendo 64?”
SwankyBox gives us very strong vision of how both Link and Mario would fare in the other’s respective game. The analysis of each character’s strengths and weaknesses is extremely thought-provoking, and the discussion gives viewers a solid idea of which has the upper-hand in a given situation. This video provides Nintendo fanatics with a very creative question, hopefully sparking further debate among fans.
