We are hiring at Zelda Dungeon and GenGAME

As we move into the holiday season of video games, we are in need of some new volunteer writers and contributors. We have a wide range of positions that we can use help on and they are detailed within this post. While we could use some help here at Zelda Dungeon as we build towards the release of A Link Between Worlds next month, and potentially a 2014 release of Zelda Wii U, the help we need extends to our network website, GenGAME. Go ahead and make the jump to get a fill break down of our current needs.

 

News Correspondent

• Predominantly for our sister website, GenGAME, we are in need of news editors. These are people that can publish news stories based on all the breaking news in the video game world. Great for aspiring journalists.
• Time commitment for this varies by website, but the bare minimum would be at one news entry per week.

Bloggers

• We are in need of people that would like to post front page articles across the various websites on the network. These can be opinionated pieces based on various aspects of the Video Game world or Legend of Zelda series, as well as reaction pieces to recent related news and announcements.
• In particular for GenGAME, we are in need of bloggers that predominately game on non-Nintendo platforms.
• Bloggers can be in both written and video form.
• Time commitment for this would be in the range of 2 posts per week.

Editors and Writers

• Our Wiki here at Zelda Dungeon has recently surpassed 4000 articles, but we still have quite a ways to go. We are in need of some additional editors and writers to improve and expand the Wiki. All viewers can easily Register at our Wiki in just a matter of minutes and can begin contributing immediately. This is the perfect entry level position if you would like to potentially get more involved with the website.
• Over at our sister website, Pokemon Dungeon we can use some additional guide writers. We recently launched our Pokemon X Walkthrough and Pokemon Y Walkthrough, and we can use help improving them, as well as working on guides for other Pokemon titles.

Social Networking

• We can use a few helping hands when it comes to improving our interactivity at the various social networking websites that connect to Zelda Dungeon, GenGAME, and Pokemon Dungeon.

• A little bit about you! For the core contributors across the network, we aren’t all just volunteers that help out, but we are friends. We like to get to know each other, talk games, and have fun.

Just a reminder, these are completely volunteer positions. However, with them comes various opportunities. This ranges from taking part in live events hosted by the network, going to various game conventions, or acquiring game material before it releases.
