Undoubtedly one of the best things in Breath of the Wild was the food and potion crafting system. Potions specifically are no stranger to the Zelda series though and have been a staple of the series since the very beginning, with the Water of Life and 2nd Potion in The Legend of Zelda.
The YouTube channel How To Drink recently uploaded a video showing off just how to make these delicious looking concoctions. Host Greg talks through a brief history of the Zelda series with a bit of comedic flare, including some legendary references, before beginning the walkthrough on how exactly to make the drinks. His recipes is listed below:
For Water of Life
2 oz. -or- 60 ml. Blue Rum
1 oz. -or- 30 ml. Simple Syrup
.25 oz. -or- 8 ml. Maraschino
Shake and Pour into bottle
For 2nd Potion
Mix:
1 oz. -or- 30 ml. Lime Juice
~ 3 oz. -or- 90 ml. Seltzer
Combine with Water of Life for color changing completion
Afterwards, he also walks through the process of making a Shirley Temple for those non-alcoholic beverage drinkers.
As somebody who personally enjoys a cocktail from time to time, these drinks look amazing. Not to mention the awesome color changing trick provided by upgrading from Water of Life to 2nd Potion.
