Watch this Interesting Theory Video Relating Doom Guy to Link

Spoiler warning for Breath of the Wild.
The Legend of Zelda series is quite the subject for theorists. For example, just take a look at the issue of the timeline and where The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild fits into it. Because Zelda allows its fans to theorize, people have created some amazing, creative, and/or odd theories. OutsideXtra, a YouTube channel that hosts theories and top ten videos for various games, decided to put out one of the strangest theories to date: Link and Doom Guy are the same person. Watch it first before you judge.
The theory links Doom Guy and Link with reference to their backstories, enemies, outfits, supposed ambidexterity, and how the two game series are similar. Some of the points mentioned do have some merit and could be seen as references. Though that’s about all I can accept at this point.
