Watch The Evolution of Zelda From the NES to the Nintendo Switch

Get ready to take a trip down memory lane, and don’t feel surprised if you shed a nostalgic tear or two watching the video above. The latest in a series of videos done by GAMEsEVOLUTION showing off the humble beginnings of some of gaming’s most beloved franchises, The Legend of Zelda takes center stage, joining other series such as Mario, Pokémon and Resident Evil.
It’s pretty cool to watch a young 8-bit Link swinging his pixelated sword at enemies grow into the blue clad hero we’ll no doubt spend countless hours with next year in Breath of the Wild. It’s a long video, but definitely worth the time.
