Volume 9 of Twilight Princess Manga Releasing in September!

The cover art for Volume 9 of the Twilight Princess manga has been revealed! Publisher Viz Media has also announced that the English edition of the upcoming volume — the Japanese edition released last December — will be releasing on September 14th. Leading on from events in Volume 8, Link and Midna are finally set to enter the Twilight Realm and face their demons in more ways than one.

This gem of a series by artists Akira Himekawa has been ongoing since 2017. Whether you love or loathe Twilight Princess, I can’t recommend this series enough for all Zelda fans. The quality of the artwork has been top notch so far. And the series is more than just a simple retelling of the video game story. The battle scenes, character interactions, and pacing have been well thought out and implemented. The reader feels an emotional connection to this interpretation of Link as he speaks and interacts with familiar faces. Link’s character development in Twilight Princess throughout each volume also really shines.
