Last month was an exciting time for fans of the A Link to the Past graphic novel by Shotaro Ishinomori. After its first reprint in over 20 years, the book was a hit with fans, being featured on several best sellers lists. Adding to this hype, publisher Viz Media announced a special panel for the graphic novel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

The panel will be held on Saturday July 11th from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM (Pacific Time). Fans at the event will be treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the comic’s reprint, a Q&A session, and a chance to win some cool Zelda prizes. The panel will be hosted by WIRED.com’s Chris Kohler.

Loosely following the plot of the game,The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was originally serialized in Nintendo Power in 1992, later published as a graphic novel a year later. Story and art were handled by prolific manga artist Shotaro Ishinomori.

Will you be attending the panel at this year’s Comic-Con? What do you hope to see? Let us know in the comments!
