SPOILER WARNING FOR A LINK BETWEEN WORLDS

Introduction

Ah, Yuga. How the internet exploded when we got our first glimpse of you. Your flamboyant wardrobe and catchy theme music compliment you greatly. How I long to see you in a home console Zelda title; you would be perfect for the big screen. This being said… let’s explore you a bit more in depth.

Yuga’s Character

When Link first sees Yuga, the villain mercilessly captures his friend Seres for the purpose of reviving Ganon. Yuga proceeds to knock Link out cold. It’s obvious this boss has no remorse: he is brave and outgoing, ready to stomp on anything in his way.

Yuga is dedicated and on a mission. He lusts for power, perhaps a little too much. His evil deeds, destroying the land of Lorule and lying to Hilda, proves he is nothing but a trickster, a thief, and a scoundrel. With his black heart, he has no trouble kidnapping all of the sages.

His lust for power consumes him, only striving towards the revival of Ganon, which is possibly the only way he will gain all the power he wishes. He is content with taking second best, as he plans to serve as Ganon’s right-hand man.

Yuga’s Physical Appearance

It’s safe to say Yuga is quite vain, accessorizing himself to the max with colorful clothing and a cape to match. His golden scepter compliments his gold elf-like shoes, and the mass amount of eye shadow and lipstick he uses adds to his stage presence. One mustn’t forget the tiara he wears with a ruby in the middle.

Yuga also sports the Lorule Triforce on his shirt and wears baggy, striped pants. We also see diamond-shaped earrings, much like the ones Ghirahim wears. It’s an understatement to say Yuga’s appearance is unbridled, as Yuga is definitely flamboyant in personality and clothing.

Yuga’s Foolishness/Closing

Whilst reviving a supreme Demon King, problems may arise. It’s common knowledge that the Demon King is the most evil being in the universe, an incarnation of Demise’s hate. Ganon will easily betray anyone and kill anything if the thought so much as crosses his mind.

Overwhelmed by a being more evil than he is, Yuga is consumed by Ganon and ultimately killed. You would think Yuga would consider this possibility beforehand and try rising to a position of power using his own devices. Reviving a big scary demon is risky, if not foolhardy. Maybe the next villain of the Zelda series will be a tad smarter.
