User Hand-Builds Zelda Melody Doorbell

YouTube user Grobenn25 assembles an entire doorbell by hand—constructing it to play the famous “secret” tone from the Zelda series! That’s right, this user took all the necessary materials, including tubular bells and a rotary hammer to see this thing in action! This is one of the most unique ideas seen from fans, and all created from scratch. Hit the jump to take a look!
Benjamin fashions this doorbell using nano-driven tubular doorbells that are struck with a rotary hammer; each one has a certain pitch corresponding to the tones in “secret sound” from Ocarina of Time. You’ll recognize the song when you hear the doorbell!
Additionally, Benjamin connects LED tape to the frame of the door window to light up when the sound is heard. That is dedication!
