Two Job Postings Hint at the Possibility of a New Zelda Project
Posted on November 06 2018 by Kat Vadam
It appears that Nintendo may have something up their sleeves for the world of Zelda. Two new job postings recently went up on Nintendo Japan’s website hinting at new things in the works.
The first position sought is a topographical designer to create terrains — very specifically, the ad calls out dungeons — along with level design and concept art creation. The second position Nintendo seeks to fill is a level designer, meant to handle game events and enemies. Understandably, both positions will require applicants to possess a great deal of experience in game development.
It should be noted that nothing in either listing mentions exactly what this project could be, if it’s a new game or work on an existing game, nor what console it could be on. All we know is that both positions are very specifically for The Legend of Zelda, leaving us to wait in excitement for the potential of new developments.
Stay tuned right here for news as it comes, and let us know what you’re hoping to see next in the comments below!
