Twilight Princess Looks Great with Wind Waker Textures!

When The Wind Waker was first shown at Space World 2001, Zelda fans across the world were shocked and appalled at the cartoony graphics. Seemingly everyone wanted a darker, grittier game that was similar to the demo that was shown at Space World 2000. Though as the game released and time passed, fans became more and more accepting of the game. Now The Wind Waker is now garnered as one of the best Zelda games not only gameplay wise, but also one of the best graphically. We even got an official HD remake of it!

We eventually got our dark and gritty Zelda game with Twilight Princess, but even its melancholy atmosphere isn’t safe from The Wind Waker’s influence. Tumblr user, Hypatia, took a break from her work on a wonderful looking Wind Waker HD texture pack to experiment with what Twilight Princess would look like with a Wind Waker-esque graphical style. Link’s house is the only area worked on, but the results are quite interesting. Sadly, it’s not available to the public, but you can still examine the screenshots posted.
