Tri Force Heroes to Feature Arena and Challenge Modes, Treehouse Showing Them Tomorrow

Nintendo Treehouse recently wrapped up a new livestream of Tri Force Heroes, but they did so by teasing some new modes for the game that they plan to show off tomorrow. Those modes include a challenge and arena mode in addition to the traditional story mode. The arena mode seems to be very Four Swords like, as they explained it involves you and your friends facing off against each other. The inclusion of this mode isn’t too much of a surprise as it expands on Four Swords and might bring a little bit of the “fighting your friends avatar” aspect from A Link Between Worlds into play, except fighting a real world opponent.

The other mode they teased was challenge mode. They didn’t reveal much about what this mode entails, but it could be similar to a cave of ordeals type situation, where unique scenarios that are overly difficult are presented to you and your friends, requiring you to maximize your team work.
