suit By now many of you Zelda fans out there are enjoying the latest installment of the Zelda series and collecting a plethora of suits and outfits that will help you along your journey in Tri Force Heroes. There are so many suits that you have to wonder how many more there were that didn’t make it to the end result. The director of Tri Force Heroes Hiromasa Shikata reveals one particular suit that couldn’t be incorporated into the game well enough to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Turns out that, technically, you could say it would have been like a lack of suit entirely. Curious? Make the jump to see what Mr. Shikata had to say!

In an interview with Eiji Aonuma and Hiromasa Shikata, Mr. Shikata stated that there was one suit he wished could have been added to the Tri Force Heroes collection.

“I can think of one right off the top of my head. That would be one that was inspired by the folktale “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” which as you know is the story of the emperor who thinks he’s wearing something of the highest fashion, but he’s actually—when other people look at him, he’s not wearing anything. They thought that would be a great idea for an outfit, but they weren’t able to come up with an implementation that would—they weren’t sure how to wrap up that whole thing as one good feature spec, you know, “How could we actually implement that neat idea as something that’s relevant to the game?” They unfortunately weren’t able to come to a conclusion, so that never made the cut.”

Interesting, right? What other suits do you think could have been concepts but didn’t make it to the final result? What kind of suit would you add to the game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
