With 2017 coming to a close, the gaming community can now look back at the variety of new games that have made quite the impact on the world over the past year. Among these new games was Breath of the Wild, a game that right away experienced tremendous success and stole the hearts of many fans and players. The new Zelda game even took the award for Ultimate Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards, and has already been nominated for six different awards, including the crown for Game of the Year, at The Game Awards. But the game’s success doesn’t end there. TIME Magazine recently named Breath of the Wild as Game of the Year in their Top 10 list of the Best Video Games of 2017.

It’s not hard to miss the impact made by Breath of the Wild on the folks over at TIME Magazine. The unique story, unforgettable characters, and open-world gameplay have made the game so remarkable to begin with:
