The crew at Zelda Dungeon is back with more fun content for fans to sink their teeth into. In this supersized, one year anniversary episode of Tier Force Heroes, Gooey Fame, Corey Richmond, and Skull Kid Nico dive into the Zelda‘s series’ long history and create a comprehensive tier list of all of the Zelda games. In addition to the mainline Zelda games, the crew also discusses the CD-i Zelda games, as well as spin-offs like Link’s Crossbow Training, Hyrule Warriors and Cadence of Hyrule!
Overall, it is interesting to hear each crew member discuss the different Zelda titles because their opinions vary drastically on several games. I really enjoyed how Tier Force Heroes ranks different versions of each game; the final tier list feels like a comprehensive look back at the franchise and its game. For example, Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 has a separate spot on the tier rankings from Ocarina of Time 3D on the Nintendo 3DS. Some games end up in the same tier as their remakes, some do not. Ultimately, the Tier Force Heroes rank 9 Zelda games as S-Tier and 8 Zelda games as A-Tier. The game placements are likely to spark discussion among viewers, so make sure to give us your thoughts in the comments!
If you enjoyed this one year anniversary episode of Tier Force Heroes, you can also check out all the other great episodes of Tier Force Heroes that have been posted over the past year. Each episode of the series involves wide-ranging discussions about the Zelda series, and the episodes are filled with plenty of humor and levity.
Do you agree with the crew’s tier rankings of the Zelda games? Are there any games that you feel should have been ranked higher or lower? Give us your thoughts in the comments below!
