The crew at Zelda Dungeon is back with more wonderful content for fans to feast on. In this episode of Tier Force Heroes, Gooey Fame, Corey Richmond, and Skull Kid Nico discuss the rods, canes, and wands featured in the Zelda series. For this video, the trio is focusing on rods, canes, and wands seen in single player Zelda games, which means that the various rods from games like Hyrule Warriors and Tri Force Heroes are not included. In order to narrow down the focus of the video, sticks like the tree branch from Breath of the Wild and Deku Stick from Ocarina of Time are also excluded.

In the video, the crew discusses more than a dozen rods, canes, and wands that are present in the series. The trio have an interesting discussion about their use of the rods seen in Breath of the Wild. Since these items are completely optional, some players will go through their playthrough without using them at all, while others might use them more frequently throughout the adventure. The crew also discusses the fishing mechanics and fishing rods in the Nintendo 64 Zelda games versus Twilight Princess, with Twilight Princess‘s fishing and rod being deemed the better fishing experience.  Two of the crew’s “S Tier” items were the Tornado Rods and Sand Rod from A Link Between Worlds; both of these rods feature unusual but inventive abilities.
