If you are like me, there are enemies in the Legend of Zelda series that give you the willies—and for good reason too! One enemy in particular that I just cannot stand is the Skulltula, with those creepy-looking skulls that cover the entirety of the spider’s abdomen, maybe even taking the place of the abdomen itself.

Artist Brendan Milos did an amazing job bringing the Skulltula to life, giving it a realistic feel in his painting. The more I look at this piece the more I feel the need to equip my boomerang and save the cursed family in the House of Skulltula. According to Milos, “The original duration of the painting session was 1 hour, 15 minutes, and the playback in the video is at 27x speed.”
