This Adorable DIY Crochet Link Will Make the Perfect Holiday Gift
Posted on November 26 2019 by Alexis S. Anderson
The season of giving is almost upon us. Coming up with creative gift ideas can be hard, but a crochet Link doll might be just the thing for crafty Zelda fans out there. Crafter Ami Amour recently published a step-by-step tutorial for crocheting a chibi Link, along with his sword and shield. This could be a nice present fully-made or a fun project to get someone the materials for! Amour also has a crochet Zelda to complete the pair.
To follow Ami Amour’s instructions, you’ll need:
- 5.0mm Crochet Hook
- Yarn (Colors: Aran, Spring Green, Lemon, Warm Brown, Light Gray, Delft Blue)
- Polyfill Stuffing
- Yarn Needle
- Scissors
- Stitch Marker
- 2 Small Black Felt Circles
- Fabri-Tac Glue
The tutorial for Link’s sword and shield can be found here. She doesn’t have a pattern or tutorial out for her amigurumi Zelda just yet. But check out her channel to watch the rest of her tutorials or head to her Etsy to see her premium patterns (which include other video game characters like Yoshi, Cubone, Moogle, and Sackboy).
What do you think of this amigurumi-style crochet Link? Would you want Ami Amour to release a tutorial for her crochet Zelda? Let us know in the comments!
