The Legend’s Cookbook is Getting a Reprint, Sequel Announced

Back in September 2020, Zelda fans were gifted the opportunity to cook like a hero with The Legend’s Cookbook, a culinary adventure between two covers. Lead chef Peter J. Abreu and his team took inspiration from the dishes in Breath of the Wild and concocted their own recipes to give their readers the chance to replicate the food and drinks from our favorite franchise. The cookbook itself began as a Kickstarter project and soared past every goal, meaning that even more mouth-watering content could be added to its glossy pages. It wasn’t long before it sold out though, and outcry was heard from those who didn’t manage to snag a copy. However, in answer to those cries, The Legend’s Cookbook has announced that it is getting a reprint!

Aiming for completion by late 2021/early 2022, The Legend’s Cookbook plans to tune up its recipes with additional information including cooking times and tips, serving size, and more art than ever. There will even be some “DLC” recipes that had only been included in the later eBook-only publishing. Finally, the cookbook will have some recipes that had been cut from the original version, as well as an upgrade to the cover with foil stamping. The reprint looks to accommodate an extra 2,000 physical copies, but this all depends on interest, which you can register here. And if you were a Kickstarter backer for the original version, you will automatically receive an upgraded digital copy for your library.

As if the upgraded and improved cookbook isn’t enough, The Legend’s Cookbook has announced a sequel! The follow-up will also form a Kickstarter project with plans for completion in late 2022/early 2023. Some rewards for backers will include two-toned aprons, special custom oven mitts (time-warping powers not guaranteed), and more.
